EXCURSIONS

• meet at the water’s edge an hour before negative tide (typically before sunrise)
  
• visit 1-2 foraging sites x 2 hours at each site

• harvest no more than what we need and give gratitude
  
• you will get wet/submerged in water (no higher than ankle deep water)

• layers (oceanside conditions are cooler and windier)

• watershoes or waterproof shoes with traction (rock reefs are slippery!)
• mesh bags 6-8, variety of sizes
  
• 6” scissors (with plastic handle) + rubber band
  
• water bag, bucket, or cooler + ice packs for storage
