Palettes

Inspired by a colleague’s color documentation of Brownstones — I went about indexing seaweed and kelp, harvested during my annual excursions to Coastal Pomo Territory/Mendocino, California.

Color palettes below range from digital to hand-painted annotated with, “wet” or “dry”, to account for the impact of hydration on hue saturation and value ranges. Scroll down for reference images from my personal forages in the intertidal zones.
