SEAWEED COLOR SYSTEM

Inspired by a colleague’s color documentation of Brownstones — I went about indexing the multitudes of color hues present in seaweed and kelp, creating a color system using two tools: a ditigal app, Coloors and Winsor & Newton gouache paint. Annotations: “wet” or “dry” account for the impact of hydration on hue saturation and value ranges.
